It was pretty good, I must say. I liked the updated effects and whatnot, and Alexander Skarsgard was fantastic as Pennywise. Though I've never read the book or watched the original miniseries, I will say this made me want to do both. Which, honestly, is what remakes/adaptations are good for: bringing attention to the source material, no matter how good or bad (Death Note) it may be.
I was also surprised by the cast. All unknown child actors and they killed it, I really want to see where they end up going later in their careers. They did a fantastic job.
I really can't say too much without spoilers (that and it's been almost a week and I forget 90% of the movie lmao) so I'll make a part 2 when I watch it a second time to refresh my memory.
